The signature whisky of the night will be Talisker Storm. Spicy on the nose, a hint of struck matches, brine and an oily explosion of pepper.

For 3 days only we teamed up with Single Malt Whisky Balblair (from the oldest working distillery in the Highlands) for a Father's Day weekend feast designed to capture the essence of idyllic coast of the Dornoch Firth. A seasonal four-course menu paired with four whiskies and menu highlights that included Charcoal Venison Bun with Bramble, Ham & Langoustine, Pea Ravioli, Dulse Seaweed Shellfish Broth, Smoked Highland Ribeye – and Nitro 99 Balblair ice cream, accompanied with Toffee Granny Smith, Banana & Raisin Bread and Salted Shortbread Crumb.

W created accompanying recipe cards with each course so the flavours of the day could be recreated at home too.
